The Mastermind Connect is focused on helping community based organizations and shedding light on men's health issues. We have relationships with various non-profit organizations and have created our own Young Masterminds Initiative. Our goal is to make sure our members are engaging in social responsibility. We’re advocates for promoting social good as a daily lifestyle and not a one time occurrence.
The Young Masterminds Initiative is a program created by Mastermind Connect that promotes mentorship, leadership and positive self awareness for our future generation. The development of our youth is the responsibility of their predecessors. This initiative seeks to create unique experiences that cultivates the lives of our young men and women. We have partnered with the New York City Department of Education to bring this program to schools across NYC, and will spread across the US as we roll out other Mastermind Connect chapters in major cities.
The Bowery Mission has served homeless and hungry New Yorkers since 1879, when its neighborhood came to define the term “skid row.” Our children’s programs, called Mont Lawn Camp and Mont Lawn City Camp, serve at-risk youth and began in 1894 by giving the children of recent immigrants the chance to escape the tenements in the summer. Today, The Bowery Mission is a results-oriented organization that is recognized as one of New York City’s most effective.
