Men all over the world are awakening to a feeling of stepping into a more conscious brotherhood. As we do so, there is a need for support and connection with one another.
So far, we have created wellness events that test our physical limits by pushing us to work as fast and hard as our bodies could handle via high intensity interval training workouts. This time, we are looking to take a different approach; we're doing a Vinyasa Yoga, in a candlelit studio, to the beat of hip-hop music!
The Mastermind Connect group stands for the nourishment and support of the conscious brotherhood of the awakening man. Setting aside intentional time for practice in the support of community helps us uncover and explore various techniques and tools that support and align with the wisdom of our hearts.
We, as men, are all unique and in sharing our truth in community we discover the freedom of expressing our whole selves both strong and vulnerable. Supporting the expression of truth and stepping outside of our comfort zones to experience ourselves without judgement or limiting beliefs of how we can or have been allowed to be as men is crucial.
Our group celebrates diversity and inclusiveness, and invite all individuals who identify as men to explore the various expressions of brotherhood and give ourselves and each other permission to shed the belief that to be a man means to exist in one way.
Oh, you've never done Yoga before? It's OK. We’ve all got to start somewhere. Whether you’re an experienced yogi, or just stepping onto the path, we believe in starting where you are and we will meet you there. This is all about practicing together and learning about our bodies and limitations, and safely move within a practice that serves us and our individual needs.
As always, our events are tied to fundraising efforts to give to those lest fortunate. This time all funds collected will go towards the Y7 Studio Moves For Knowledge campaign, joining the buildOn movement to break the cycle of poverty one school at a time. They are asking you to help in raising money to build a school with the people of Haiti, to ensure that there is a safe space for their children to learn and grow. There is a suggested donation of $25, which can be done via credit card online. In the box that inquires about a specific team, please type in "Y7 Union Square Squad." (print receipt), or at the time of the event, in cash, check or Venmo app. Please make sure to secure your spot by registering here:
