Are you ready to begin your path towards next year's marathon? Or perhaps you've been curious about what is like to take a run by the riverside, with a view of the Manhattan Skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge? Or perhaps you haven't started running because you don't like to run alone? Whatever the reason, we would like to invite you to join us and Mastermind Connect founding member Dre Pabon for a nice 5k run (3.1 miles)!
After participating in running events in multiple cities, Dre has taken the initiative to share his passion with fellow Mastermind Connect members. He has even created a training plan (see bottom of page) to get you ready for that end of summer date.
On October 13th, we’ll start at the beginning of the Brooklyn Bridge Park, at Jay Street, and run the promenade towards Red Hook for 1.5 miles. We’ll then run back towards 68 Jay Street to complete the 5K. Simple.
We will base camp at 68 Jay Street, Suite #704, Brooklyn, NY 11201 at 10 am. Everyone will be able to change, dress and leave their bags there.
Once we get back, we’ll do a light cool down stretch and have some beers for those so inclined to do so (beers will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery) on the rooftop!
