Breakfast of Champions Panel on The Art of Filmmaking

  • Hunter College, Room 215 930 Lexington Avenue New York, NY, 10065 United States (map)

Mastermind Connect created the Young Masterminds Initiative as a way to bridge the gap between young adults who are looking for guidance, and professionals who have so much insight to offer.

Mastermind Connect has teamed up with the Office of Equity and Access of the New York City Department of Education for a monthly panel series dubbed “Breakfast of Champions,” for their NYC Urban Ambassadors and NYC Great! programs.

These panels are comprised of diverse professionals across business sectors who seek to expose young men and women  to the many opportunities and paths available to them. Students get a glance into the lives of individuals who dare to make a change in their respective fields of expertise, while staying true to themselves.

To date, we have covered; Social Media Influencers, Building the Next Snapchat, Law Careers, Bringing your Idea to Life, Your Idea, and Maintaining Your Body, and Health Care Careers.

This month's panel will focus on The Art of Filmmaking , and it will feature the following panelists:
Robert Holley - Director/Screenwriter
Ephraim Sykes - Actor
Aristotle Torres - Writer/Director/Producer
Alejo Daw’ud Rodriguez - Writer/Filmmaker
Hollis Meminger - Cinematographer
Erix Mercedes - Filmmaker /Editor

This will be our 7th installment of the monthly series, and each time the students walk away more confident, inspired, and connected than before. The Breakfast of Champions events are for Mastermind Connect members, panelists and program participants only.
