Mastermind Connect, in collaboration with Coalition for Hispanic Family Services will host the Young Masterminds Initiative at Juan Morel Campos Secondary School, in Brooklyn, NY. This event will bring together young men from the most underserved neighborhoods within the county for a series of intensive workshops, panel discussions, and a fitness bootcamp.
The goal is to introduce these young men to positive role models who are able to share their stories, knowledge and motivations, as well as listening to their questions, suggestions and concerns. This is the second year the two organizations come together for this much needed event. Check out last year’s event recap here!
The Mastermind Connect is a progressive group of men whose members include doctors, lawyers, professional athletes, creative types, and more. Members are expected to pull their resources and time to serve their community. The Young Masterminds Initiative is all about balance and making sure young men are engaged, right where they are.
