To see Brooklyn, is to get to know Brooklyn…. To know Brooklyn, is to love (and sometimes hate) it. The same can be said of the bike ride we take through the county of Kings, every Summer since 2017.
Mastermind Connect co-founder and cycling enthusiast Manny Almonte leads the group through winding paths, potholes, and unpredictable traffic. Starting at the famous Grand Army Plaza monument , the group follows the path through Prospect Park and headed south toward the coast on Ocean Parkway, the home of the country’s first bike path, with Coney Island Beach & Boardwalk, as a midpoint to destination. We then take the Shore Parkway Greenway Trail heading to the Red Hook shore for some grub and cold brews at the Fairway Market, and concluding the journey back at Grand Army Plaza.
Don't have a bike? No worries. Ride Brooklyn in Park Slope offers helmets and bicycles for rental. Reservations are highly recommended.
Please DO NOT bring a CitiBike. It's too heavy and slow for the length and pace of the ride.
Please RSVP via email invite (Mastermind Connect members only) and read about our first ride experience here!
