Mastermind Connect and The Office of the Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams presents Black Men Meditate for Domestic Violence Awareness; a morning to help men of color achieve balance and kick-off National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The U.S. Department of Justice estimates that 1.3 million women and 835,000 men are victims of physical violence by a partner every year.

All men are invited to come together to heal, uplift and grow, through a deep focus mindfulness meditation lead by Omar Davis, founder of CrashBell, a company that creates health educational content on the human anatomy and emotional intelligence.

A warm up session with a light workout and stretching will be lead by Body by Briscoe and Vela Fitness Band.

Please bring a mat or a blanket, a bottle of water, and a long sleeve athletic shirt or light jacket for comfort.

Remember to always breathe, and exhale.

Please RSVP here.
