Grit can be defined as: “perseverance and passion for long-term goals.” Winston Churchill hit the nail on the head regarding grit when he said, “Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.” More and more research is showing that intelligence is no longer the greatest predictor of success in school, work, and life.
